Have you downloaded your Manx Gas Challenge entry form from the athletics websites?
If not you need to, then fill it in and bring the relevant form and money with you to the first race at Noble's Park on Sunday 14/10/07 - report in from 1.30pm with first race off at 2pm - well that is the usual standard time table.
14/10/07 - Yes it is that soon!!! Just over a week away so just time to get a few more runs under your belt or try one of the sessions on offer as listed on the websites.
At the moment the courses are dry and firm but by November we can expect the conditions underfoot to change.
The aim of this blog is to give information, thoughts and comment on the muddy marvels winter season for 2007/08, In addition I hope to tell you about races off island you might like to go to, share some tips and advice as well as let you know how the training is going for some of the island's top athletes.

I'll sign off this first posting with a tip - go and find your cross country spikes today and give them the once over. No point searching and finding they need new nails next Sunday after a possible week of rain - it'll be too late then!!!
